After years of dating Kris Jenner and appearing on several episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Corey Gamble has somehow remained shrouded in mystery. Gamble's preference to keep aspects of his life private has been an open topic on the E! reality series starring Jenner's family.
Although a source told PEOPLE in 2017 that Jenner and Gamble "will never get married," Gamble is still considered Jenner's "ride or die."
In an Instagram tribute for Gamble's 41st birthday on Nov. 10, 2021, Jenner wrote, "You are the most amazing partner, best friend, confidant, travel aficionado, therapist, problem solver, golf buddy, protector, advisor, and the best, most wonderful man to my kids and my grandkids!!!"
So, who is the man who has captured Kris Jenner's heart? Here's everything to know about Corey Gamble and his relationship with the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch.
He's originally from Atlanta
Gamble attended Westlake High School, graduating in the class of 1999. According to his Facebook page, he went to Morehouse College and studied business marketing.
He met Jenner in Spain
Gamble was serving as Justin Bieber's tour manager when he and Jenner first began their romance in August 2014 after meeting at fashion designer Riccardo Tisci's 40th birthday bash in Ibiza, Spain.
At the time, Jenner was undergoing a divorce from Caitlyn Jenner, whom she was married to for 22 years.
He's low-key, despite his lavish lifestyle
A source once told E! News in 2014 that Gamble is more low-key than KUWTK fans might assume, despite the endless parties, galas and vacations. "He's a really great guy," the source said. "He's so nice and a very responsible man. He doesn't drink or party. He is very caring about other people and generally just an all-around good guy."
The whole not drinking thing may have changed, based on a 2016 Instagram post of Gamble pouring a glass of Rosé while sailing the Mediterranean. Still, according to the Kardashian-Jenner family, Gamble being a caring guy has seemingly remained the same, with Jenner expressing her appreciation for him "always holding it down" in a celebratory birthday post on Instagram in 2018.
He has many famous friends
In addition to Bieber, the business executive and talent manager has many famous friends, including hospitality entrepreneur David Grutman and Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz. In 2017, he shared a photo on Instagram of him and designer Tommy Hilfiger aboard a yacht enjoying cigars.
Gamble also posted a series of photos on Instagram in 2022, posing alongside rappers JAY-Z and Drake at the second annual Fourth of July white party hosted by billionaire and Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin.
He made his KUWTK debut in 2015
Gamble made his KUWTK debut with a bang in March 2015. He raised eyebrows when Kim Kardashian revealed she had heard "banging" and "moaning" when Gamble stayed the night.
The daughters also took issue with the 25-year age gap between the couple. "It's creepy," Khloé Kardashian said at the time.
Jenner responded, saying, "I can't do anything without getting criticized. It's uncomfortable. It's like everybody wants answers, everybody wants to know what the title is. It's like you're a bunch of haters."
One month later, the pair took another major step in coupledom: making their relationship Instagram official on a double date with Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus.
He's Jenner's "support system"
In a 2021 interview for WSJ Magazine, Jenner called Gamble her "sounding board," saying, "He's the greatest guy, and he's just an amazing support system for me, and he really gives me a lot of strength and insight." She said both her kids and her mom love Gamble.
He likes to travel with Jenner
Jenner and Gamble have taken lavish vacations to destinations such as St. Tropez, the French Riviera and California's Napa Valley, where the couple once celebrated Gamble's 39th birthday.
"My mom, every time so far, gets her drunkest at this winery," Khloé said while in Napa during an episode of KUWTK featuring the trip.
Later on the episode, Jenner explained to Gamble that she was on her "13th glass" because it's her "lucky number."
He sparred with the Kardashians over child discipline differences
In 2019, during a KUWTK episode from season 7, Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian and Gamble got into a screaming match over their opinions on how to discipline Disick's daughter Penelope.
"If P scratch me, I'm whipping her a–," Gamble said on camera.
"Don't ever talk about a child like that!" Disick shouted after some back and forth.
After Jenner assured Kourtney that Gamble would never hurt her child, she replied: "Yeah, he's never because he will never be with my kids alone, and if he does that in front of any of us, there will be a f—ing issue."
When the two met to reconcile, Kourtney conceded that they would never agree on child discipline and underscored Gamble was never to discipline her children.
"I understand how Kourtney and Scott feel, but I can say what I want to say because that's my opinion," said Gamble. "I just hope everyone can move on."
Kanye West expressed concerns over Gamble
While still married to Kim, Kanye West threw shade at Gamble via text, questioning why the Kardashian-Jenner family had never met Gamble's family.
"Kanye texts Corey something along the lines of, 'Look, we don't know you, we've never met any of your family members,'" explained Kim, as Disick, Kourtney and Khloé met with Jenner to discuss the matter during season 16 of KUWTK. "Of course, we've all felt that way and thought that, but for Kanye to just so bluntly say that to him — I feel like that was the wrong choice to make at that time."
Khloé added, "Kanye's delivery wasn't great, but the essence of what he said is true. Corey does tend to be pretty secretive and that does have me pretty guarded ... We don't know Corey like that."
She even admitted that she never thought the relationship would go the distance.
"After my mom got her divorce, I was like, 'Okay, this probably isn't going to last,'" Khloé said. "I just didn't feel the need to get that connected or attached. Then when I saw time progressing and the relationship was still there, we tried to get to know him, but he has not been receptive in this whole thing."
He can count on Jenner having his back
After the Kardashian-Jenner kids and West voiced their opinions on Gamble and him keeping things from the family, Jenner came to his defense.
"Nobody really slows down enough to take a look at it from a bird's eye view of my life," Jenner told Khloé during a mother-daughter heart-to-heart on the 2019 episode. "I want you to recognize that when you do question my relationship with Corey, it isn't okay and it hurts feelings. I think what you guys don't realize is Corey is really taking care of me like no one ever has in my entire life."
"We're happy you make our mom happy," Khloé said later in an apology to Gamble. "We just want to move forward and be in a good place."
Kim added, "Ultimately, we just want to protect my mom. She's always going to be the most important thing to us so we are going to do what we can to just look out for her."
He moved in with Jenner
In June 2022, Jenner shut down rumors she and Gamble had secretly tied the knot after Khloé questioned the couple's relationship status. "Stop. You think I'm gonna get married and not have a big-ass party?" Jenner asked, before adding, "I'm not secretly married. I swear to God on all my kids and daddy."
However, the momager did reveal the two made another commitment: moving in together.
"He's been so amazing moving into the house because he really handles everything," Jenner said on an episode of Hulu's The Kardashians. "There's so much security."
She added, "I love that side of him, because he's always really protective."
