JAMIE Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall restaurant, one of the last to bear his name, has shut with the loss of 100 jobs.
Devastated staff hit out at bosses and the celeb chef — even though he has nothing to do with the franchise.
The closure comes months after his Italian chain collapsed, leaving 1,000 out of work.
Workers burst into tears after being told in a midday meeting that the Newquay restaurant was to close immediately.
One told The Sun: “There’s going to be at least 100 people out of work now before Christmas.”
The shock news came weeks after Jamie, 44, appeared on the BBC’s Graham Norton show mentioning the branch.
The worker said: “Everyone was called in and told there was no money left. Everyone was supposed to get paid on December 20 but they have been told this isn’t going to happen — it’s devastating.
“Most of them can’t get over how Jamie was on TV weeks ago talking about the restaurant and now this. They feel like he should get involved to get people paid before Christmas, his name is on the door.”
