Shocking moment tiny defenceless dog is DRAGGED along pavement as RSPCA hunts for owner

August 2024 · 3 minute read

THIS is the shocking moment a tiny dog is dragged along the pavement on its stomach.

The RSPCA is urgently hunting the pup's owner after it was filmed being seemingly yanked by its lead in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

The hard-to-watch footage shows a man wearing a grey T-shirt, dark shorts, black socks and Nike trainers tugging on the Shih Tzu's collar while it's sprawled on the ground.

After it appears to refuse to budge, the bloke proceeds to pull the pooch along the path for several metres.

At one point it looks as though the walker is hauling so hard it jerks the dog's front paws off the floor.

He then continues to drag the pup down Duncalf Street in Burslem while it appears flat-out on its front.

Lillie Downing can heard in the background of the video saying: "What the f**k, what the actual f**k?

"Is that a f**king joke. What the f**k?

"Oh my God, I'm going to have to get out the car."

Sharing the video on Facebook, she added: "I’ve just witnessed someone dragging their dog up the bank.

"I tried to video as much as I can. If anyone knows this man, please can you report him or let someone know that the dog is ok?

"I did shout out my car window to tell him to pick the dog up but he literally told me to f*** off."

The post was flooded with comments from people who were just as appalled by the man's behaviour.

One person said: "My heart. The dog looks absolutely terrified."

Another wrote: "I feel sick watching this, that poor dog.

"What a disgusting human being."

'I FEEL SICK'
